Please be advised the Mega Hydronics Inc and Eagle West Crane will be closing Homer Street between Drake and Pacific streets on Saturday, March 5 to facilitate the make up air replacement.
Only limited vehicle access with extenuating circumstances will be permitted, as Mega Hydronics will be closing the street at each end of the block.
Trying to accommodate vehicles and special requests is a distraction to the traffic control team and can cause delays to the crane, incurring additional costs.
The City of Vancouver has been instructed to hood all meters and mark them as ‘no parking’ during the work. Any vehicles not related to the work will be ticketed and towed at owners’ expense if parked on the block of Homer between Drake and Pacific.
Access to the parkade and lobby is available via the back alley during the operation from 7am to 5pm.
Pedestrian access is allowed on the sidewalks, except during removal of the old rooftop unit and installation of the new on the west sidewalk. The east sidewalk will remain open at all times.
