Dear residents,
High humidity has been reported in some units, causing condensation and mould growth; humidity levels must be managed.
We remind residents that all Pacific Point 2 units have a humidistat linked to the bathroom fan which automatically exhausts moist air when relative humidity reaches the level set on the dial.
We recommend that a setting below 40% humidity be maintained in order to keep condensation at a minimal level. Further adjustments should be made if condensation continues. This may require that window(s) be opened temporarily to provide additional ventilation, or that the humidistat’s dial be set lower.
